D-day

Hello Friends!

Guess what??? Tomorrow morning I'm going to AFRICA!!!! Wow. I am SO incredibly excited. I've been dreaming of this day since I was about nine years old and now it is actually happening! I can't wait to begin this adventure & see what God has in store for me in Gabon.

Tomorrow I begin Part 1 of this journey. First I fly to JFK, then Paris (overnight flight), then I fly to Libreville and arrive around 5pm-ish on Sunday (Gabon time). Then I spend the night with the Brokopp's on Sunday night. Monday I fly to Lebamba and will be staying with my wonderful hosts the Kelly's.

Please pray that I do not encounter and difficulties with delays, connecting flights and customs. I have alot of bizarre items I'm bringing, so I'm praying that Gabonese customs officials just pass me by entirely.

I will try to update as frequently as I can. Because I only arrive in Lebamba on Monday, do not expect an update until Tuesday. By then, I should have had time to set up my computer, etc.

P.S. - My organic chem. test on Wednesday went pretty well! I still haven't received any grades yet, so I am waiting in suspense :-)
