I can't find words to say good-bye. I'm really horrible at good-byes especially when I don't know when I will see all my new Bongolo friends again. I'm trying to prevent the waterfalls of tears, so I'm trying not to think about this right now....
Tomorrow @ 9am I leave for the hospital to pick up some stuff and then Mouila. Eric, the station's book-keeper/opthamologist's husband will be traveling with me, which means I won't be all alone, so that is great.
This morning wasn't so great....I didn't feel very good, so I went back up to the Kelly's until about 10:30 when I ventured down to the hospital. I saw a really cool surgery on the mandible (I think, but I'm confusing things), a c-section, removal of an ovarian cyst and the removal of coin (which turned out to be a battery) from a little boy's esophagus.
Anyways, I must sleep and I really don't want to think about good-byes, so I am just going to abruptly end this post. I may not blog until I get back to the U.S., so don't freak out ;-)
Thank you for all your prayers. Please pray as I travel. I'm bringing some pathology samples, so pray that no one gives me grief for that.
Blessings to all!
