Spring 2010 Semester

Wow! Time has flown by. I am almost one month through the Spring 2010 semester. The semester began on Wednesday, January 14th. I am taking Biochemistry, Physics II + Lab, Historical Theology, The Church & Out of the Wild (an Honors course). So far I have enjoyed a lighter homework load. On Friday (2/12) I have my first physics exam and on Monday (2/15) I have my first biochemistry exam. Overall, the lighter load has afforded me more time to keep my sanity and get more involved with some clubs on campus.

God has been doing some amazing things in my life. I love looking back on portions of my life and seeing how he has orchestrated and directed different areas of it. It just leaves me in awe. As it says in Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they CANNOT fathom what God has done from beginning to end"...I just love that verse because I feel that it totally embodies the character of God. We have to surrender our cares, concerns, plans, etc. to him because he is sovereign and we cannot BEGIN to imagine what he has planned. Ahhhh. That is just TOO cool.

One huge way that God has blessed me is with a campus Bible study/Christian fellowship (called Fisher Cru). I have really enjoyed getting to know these kids and hanging out with them. They have been a huge encouragement to me & I am looking forward to how God develops the club.

I just finished reading the book of John. I have really enjoyed it. I think I may just go back and read it again. John has such a unique style of writing and a different take on things. I have also been making an effort to memorize Scripture, so I am trying to remember bits and pieces of the book of John.

So, eh, my life is not extremely exciting, but I am really enjoying this season of it.
