Crazy day that involved a series of unplanned events…Here is the super brief synopsis. Today was a series of adventures that involved restructuring the schedule multiple times. Last night was a crazy night for hospital staff (particularly the surgeons) with some cases last night. Also baby Samuel (born Monday) turned blue during the evening and is not doing well. Please pray for him!
One patient had a bowel obstruction, so I got to watch a really awesome surgery. Then there was an appendectomy. Went on a “jungle tromp” with Rachael Thompson (missionary kid who grew up here) and Adam...We had a goodbye dinner at the Thelanders for Dr. Tom, Jesse, Jeff, Carrie and Adam…the mass exodus begins tomorrow and all the visitors beside me leave.

Goodbye dinner:
Mostly, I’m just praying hard for baby Samuel, his parents (Jacque & Dinah) and the staff treating him. Please join me in praying for him. Obviously, this was not planned or expected and is very sad for all of us. Pray for healing and the strength for Samuel to fight for his life.
