Germany!

Guten Tag!

I am in GERMANY!!!! My family and I arrived in Germany on Wednesday around lunch time. We drove immediately three hours to my Dad's hometown called Detmold. It has been a family anf food fest ever since we got here. We go form restaurant to restaurant. NO JOKE. Thursday, I ate at about 4 different restaurants. German restaurants are awesome. Cheap, good food. I am enjoying every bite!!!

It has been great connecting with family again. I love my German relatives; too bad I don't get to see them more often.

Although it is a totally different world and experience than Bongolo, it is VERY rainy here, even more than in Gabon. I am still squashing bugs, too!

Today is my grandma's 80th birthday party at another restaurant. That will probably go LATE into the night and INVOLVE lots of food....I AM LOVING Europe with all its old buildings and history...but now I am missing two places, Rochester & Bongolo. I am missing my walks to th hospital, jungle adventures , Bifudou bites, bonfires with friends, Mt. Dew Thursday, Wednesday night Bible study and everything else.
