More Scripture tid-bits from what God is teaching me...

Tid-bit #1:

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:27

God has been showing me that regardless of the situation, trial, rough school week or whatever, he is with me and extends his peace to me. I really have no reason to be down-trodden or freaking out because God has everything under control. This is a constant lesson for me, because SO often I freak out over an exam and get so nervous that I can barely function, but I need to be trusting and resting in God's peace. Yes, I still need to care and take responsibility, but God has everything under control...So, I encourage you to rest in his peace.

Tid-bit #2:

"Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" -John 11:40

When Jesus saud this, he was challenging Lazarus' sisters, particularly Martha. In the case of Martha & Jesus, when Martha trusted and believed (that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life), God was glorified and the stone to Lazarus' grave was rolled away...

When I read this, it was a challenge to me....Does this generation believe? Because if we do, we will see the glory of God...In Martha's case, her brother rose from the dead and that was just one person believing. What will we see if a GENERATION believes??? What will that look like? IMAGINE.
